Why They Call Network Marketing Programs a Scam

Before we talk about which type of network marketing programs work, first we'll discuss the types that don't work. Yes There are a lot of scams, but just hear me out here.

Well I wouldn't really say with a straight face that they don't work, but I can honest say that these type of programs don't work for 95% of network marketers.

I can ONLY tell you from my experience with network marketing. The main thing I can't hang with very well is Cold Calling. One reason why most network marketers fail so miserably is because they have to make SO many phone calls just to get ONE (yes), and its so frustrating to anyone trying to build a solid income from home using this kind of method.

These leads generally come from people requesting more information for home business, work form home, etc. They are taught to buy these type of leads because they are suppose to be very effective, but hey I'm not knocking anyone for buying these kind of leads because some people are literally successful with Cold Calling but I'm not one of them.

These leads can be very effective, of course if you're good at explaining or begging someone to join your program, or maybe a motivated speaker. The bottom line is, just because a person request information on home business in general doesn't necessarily mean they want to join your program or mine.

We all know there are lots of different ways to make money, and the real question is, do you have the magic formula they are looking for?

I've done my research on MLM programs, and I've tried and tested different flavors to find out what works best and what doesn't work so great for most network marketers.

This is the solution I can up with:

Before you join any network marketing program, make sure there's NO Cold Calling required.

The business or program you are joining should already have a lead capture page to capture (or you can create your own) your visitors contact information, such as email and phone number.

A auto responder should be attached to the capture page to send follow up emails to your prospects until they decide to join your program, because a lot of people usually have to see the same email at least 7 times before they decide to join.

You want your customers to know what they are going to join before they even talk to you, or receive an email from you. Having a lead capture page explaining everything for you is a MUST and it brings terrific results because when the person signs up for your business, or for more information, you save a lot of time and get targeting leads and sign ups. This way you won't have to hear the word NO.

Plus having passion for your business and products is a vital key to your success! When you are familiar with the products and you have tried it yourself, you can have a better testimony and you will last long in the business and never give up.

My husband is a stockbroker in Florida. We have been hit very hard by the accelerated real estate crash in our area (2nd in the nation for foreclosures) and as a result of tenant vacancies and inability to liquidate investement properties ahead of the bow wave of declining values he now has nearly 7 properties in foreclosure. I am extremely concerned about the mortgage companies pursuing him for deficiency judgements. There is just no way he could pay all of them if they are granted to the creditor and goes to collection. He says he can't file for bankruptcy because he will lose his stock broker license. I think a bankruptcy is less risky then having all the foreclosures on his credit and the possiblity of judgements/collections against him. What can he do to protect his license?
