How to Lose Weight - The Commonly Forgotten Mystery to Lose Weight For Good and Successfully

Do you commonly think about working out and eating good first when you ask yourself "how to lose weight?" That's what we tend to think of when we think about how to lose weight- and these are all actions, things we do.

How to Lose Weight

Activities and what to do are crucial. You will only experience progress on the weighing machine and in the mirror if you do the right things. But- you'll not only have to do the right things once, you'll have to do them until you've reached your weight loss goal. You'll have to do the adequate things permanently, if you want to keep the weight off permanently.

That's the stage where weight loss efforts tend to fail. Many women over 40 can't keep that up long enough, although they initially put in a lot of time and energy in doing the right things.

Did you ever start a weight loss program, but couldn't follow through with it? Couldn't you reach your weight loss goals? It's normally called "falling off the wagon"? and is very frustrating- often women over 40 end their weight loss program at this stage and look for another programme, thinking another plan would be better and answer their question "how to lose weight?"?.

With the following program the circle repeats: Not being capable to follow through, becoming disappointed and ending the programme. It all leads to "yo-yo dieting"? and not knowing how to lose weight.

This begs the question: Why are some successful long-term, can stick with their programme and other's can't? What do many do not know when they ask themselves "how to lose weight?"?

Your motivation is an highly important part in knowing how to lose weight. If you want to do the appropriate things long-term, you need to look into your motivation. Your motiviation needs to be there long-term.

Traditional weight loss programmes take your motivation for given. Judging from what I hear from my readers, all women over 40,  this is obviously not effective.

I'd like to give you three points to look into:

First of all, you need to have a strong enough "why"? to be capable to follow through. Your individual "why do I want to lose weight"? is unique to you, and you need to spend enough time to become clear on that. Don't stop with surface answers like "I want to be healthier"? or "I want to be more attractive"?. Go deeper. Why do you want to be healthier? Why do you want to be more attractive? What would change if you were more attractive? Or, what would you have if you were more attractive? If you want to know how to lose weight then these are important questions.

Second, your "why" and your individual reasons to lose weight might change from time to time. So don't just repeat your individual reasons to lose weight like a mantra. Always connect with yourself and ask yourself: "What are my personal reasons to lose weight right now?"?

Last, continously renew and freshen your motivation. Do it on a day-to-day basis.
That's why every session of my "Lose Weight Permanently"? plan begins with a look at your individual motivation.

If you want to maintain your weight loss going, I encourage you to find each morning your individual 10 reasons newly why you want to lose weight- and keep them on top of your mind all through the day. It will assist you to do the right things, assist you in challenging situations, and gets you to exercising and eating right. That's the starting step to answer the question "how to lose weight?"
