Take a day for reflection every now and then.
Everyday goes by for new thoughts and ideas. It is fascinating to think that you can reflect the days and no one can accuse you for being wrong. I mean who decides what is right and wrong? If we are lucky we wake up in the morning.
When you go to bed in the night what do you think?
Are there any reflections? Does it have to be any dramas for your thoughts to show up? There are so many opportunities out there. Think and reflect.
Like my day today. It started off little later then normal. No worries. I was working by the computer to figure out some stuff. In the afternoon I had a late lunch with my youngest daughter and later on my oldest one came a long. We took a cup of coffee together. It was nice weather and I called a friend of mine to go for a walk. He showed up. We were walking for an hour and a half. It is refreshing and nice to catch up with a good friend. That’s the good part of living the life I do. I am deciding my time to work and travel where ever and where to go. You can do that too.
It is a typical net working life. Make the commitment of the time to work. Decide also witch days you like to work. Keep in mind to plan. If you fail to plan then you plan to fail.
It is vital with the planning.
Set up a goal. Make a goal of where you ant to be in a year, in five years and in a ten years plan. Also make a wish of the money. How much do you want to make in what period of time? Are there any people to involve in your plans?
Like a family, are you married or have a spouse?
Please involve them too. This does take time to develop.
It does not come over the night. If you have a full time job let that support your long term goal to become an independent representative. To live the life you deserve.
We were born to be free and work with the things we love to do. I think Universe is always looking for ways to keep us happy. It works both mentally and physically.
Why not let the nature to have its course? I am not willing to stop or change it. Everyday I am thankful and careful of the choices I make. Is it really that easy people ask me?
Of course I reply. But it takes a while to figure out what you want and what you expect from life.
That’s why I think it is important to reflect upon things, events that you are going through every day.
If you are not doing it for you who is? Do not depend on other people. You can not blame them anyway.
It is all up to you. So get up and take some actions. Make the commitment that your life has been waiting for. Because you are worth it. The best you can be.

A ‘Lucky’ Bastard I Am Proud Of!
By: Adam Khoo | 04/07/2009Eight years ago, I was invited to give a talk at one of the Singapore polytechnics about achieving success in life to 500 final year students. At the end of my talk was a Q&A session. After replying to lots of typical questions from students, one student raised his hand to ask the final question of the day. On that fateful day, Adam Wong asked the question, ‘ Mr. Khoo, will you be my personal mentor?’
Loving the Most Important Person in Your Life
By: Adam Khoo | 04/07/2009I’m sure that there are lots of things that you really love. You may love your parents, your husband/wife, your girl friend/boyfriend and your children. You may love your car, your home or even your new mobile phone. But let me ask you a question that may seem really weird, ‘do you love yourself?’ Do you love that person you see in the mirror every day? If you find that you have many things in life to be grateful for but are still not happy with, the reason may be because you have not learnt to
It Ain’t How Hard You Hit…It’s How Hard You Can Get Hit and Keep Moving Forward!
By: Adam Khoo | 04/07/2009It was about 22 years ago when I watched my first ROCKY movie (Rocky III) and it really inspired me to get up from defeat (after failing my exams) and to train hard to become a winner in life. Today, 22 years later, I find myself being inspired once again by Sylvestor Stallone’s latest Rocky Movie (Rocky Balboa- part 6). In this latest movie, Rocky is aged 60+ and retired from boxing. One day, Rocky decides to come out of retirement and to get back into the ring. He feels the need to fight...

By: Gary Eby | 03/07/2009Over the years, I've discerned a pattern in the lives of many successful people. They didn't do it alone. They sharpened their skills and wit while being motivated by having regular meetings with persons who had similar interests. They were with their peers whom they can relate to. Life Training Shows us Platitude as a Vigilant Act of Gratitude
By: Gary Eby | 03/07/2009Everyone has a choice. You can either complain that rose bushes have thorns ... or you can rejoice that thorn bushes have roses. You can either be a person who views a glass a half full or half empty. Everyone has Personal Mission.
Life Training is About ‘The Essence of Humility to Overcome Prejudice
By: Gary Eby | 03/07/2009Often times we neglect to empathize on what others are going through. We are viewing it in our own perspective as opposed to walking in their shoes. It is an egotistic approach that is often dubbed as being self centered. When we discriminate on others we are venturing on a reproachable act of playing. First and foremost we have no idea on what those people are going through. What is my worth? Am I doing my Personal Mission
Life Training Shows us Platitude as a Vigilant Act of Gratitude
By: Gary Eby | 03/07/2009It’s important to keep an “Attitude of Gratitude.” Instead of a complaints list. I have personally found that the longer your gratitude list ... the shorter your gripe list!

By: MarieLouiseFalk | 18/09/2007 | Self ImprovementI was thinking of my father today that past away the year of 2005. He suffered from a stroke late 1996. A Day in the Tiger Temple
By: MarieLouiseFalk | 16/09/2007 | NatureWe were in a group that walked up to the tigers cave. Arrangements were done for us. We walked in lines, had to stay quiet and were only allowed to approach the tigers from behind or side ways. One by one with a guide that took pictures with our cameras. A magic moment and I am feeling humbled to the experience.
