Motocross Racers Discover Getting Paid To Race At The Speed Of Click

Besides winning, the second wish of most motocross racers is to get sponsored. Motocross Racing is a blast but paying for the high costs of racing keeps many racers home and away from the track. The good news is that getting sponsored isn’t that difficult if you know a couple of secrets.

First you need to understand what a motocross sponsorship is and what it is really all about. A motocross sponsorship is where someone else foots the bill for your racing. In most cases motocross sponsors will pay you to race only if they can figure out how to get a return on their investment. Generally they are looking for more customers. If you can help them do that you are one step closer to getting paid to race.

So for the motocross racer you have to have a business mind set when approaching sponsors. You have to be able to clearly share with them the benefits of sponsoring you. The benefits clearly demonstrate to them how by paying you, you can help them grow their sales.

One easy way to do this is to connect sponsors with your fan base. Don’t have a fan base? Sure you do! It is easy to build one up – quickly. Just create accounts on Myspace, Facebook and Twitter and start inviting people to be your friends.

Stay in contact with your fans multiple times per week by posting to your site and update them on your motocross racing wins, losses, days at the track and life in general. When you have built up several thousand fans it is time to shop for a sponsor. Think about what sponsors would be most interested in your fans. Pick up the phone call their offices and politely explain to them that you have several thousand hungry fans who you stay connected with multiple times per week.

Let them know that you would be happy to endorse their product to your fans in exchange for a sponsorship program. Negotiate aggressively and cut the best deal you can! Once you have one sponsor it will be easier to get more. The more you have the more you will get paid.

If hunting down a sponsor seems to difficult than find a way to monetize your fans. One cool and easy way to do this is to get into affiliate marketing. Find products that pay a high commission that you think your fans would enjoy and subtlety market to them.

One way to do this with a post on your site that informs them of a cool new product. If you are mostly delivering good content each week about your motocross life, they won’t mind once or twice a week you recommending them a good product.

The most important thing is you have to get started doing something. With a little effort you can build your own motocross get paid to race system!
