I have been on America’s Got Talent before and unfortunately didn’t win, but I will show you how I got past the auditions. Also because I have 2 friends who are casting directors, they gave me some insight on what they look out for. Keep reading to find out exactly what I am talking about.

The first thing I did was go and pre-register on the America’s Got Talent website. It was painless to go and pre-register on the America’s Got Talent site and start the process.
It is required to fill out the form on America’s Got Talent to even be considered. You want to make sure that your talent is something that is different yet spectacular. Make sure you bookmark the website AuditionFree.com because they have up-to-date casting calls for America’s Got Talent.
Once you get an invite to the America’s Got Talent auditions, keep in mind these things to prepare yourself. If you have a scheduled audition, make sure you are at least 20 minutes early to the place. If it is an open casting call available to everyone, you should arrive much earlier than that to get a good place in line.
You’ll have to fill out some more forms and paper work so make time for that by arriving early. Also come prepared with forms that you may already have like a personal release form and doctor’s release form. You’ll need to be a legal resident of the United States and at least two forms of identification.
