Have you wanted to become an actress as long as you can remember? Are you inspired by your favorite actress and have a passion for acting? Here are the main steps you take to help you get to your goal.
Step 1...Acting Class
Enroll in Acting class and learn the profession from top to bottom.
Find a reputable acting school that can teach you the essentials of the art form.
Practice your craft in amateur theater and local plays. Get as much experience as possible on your quest to becoming an actress.
Step 2...Mugging
Get a headshot and professional photos for your portfolio.
Professional photographers charge an average $75 to $150 a roll.
Photos give the casting directors a better image of who they are calling for auditions.
Step 3...Shameless plugging
Post your headshots and portfolio on your own website and other related websites.
Find your niche and create yourself as a personal brand. You find a lot of that on myspce and youtube. Aspiring actresses create a myspace page and youtube channel and get as many friends as they can. They add video clips and pictures of themselves to display their work to the whole world. great recent example: Tila Tequila
Step 4... Your own "Ari Gold"
Get an agent to help you find auditions. Send movie directors and acting agencies your portfolio and request auditions. Search on the internet for acting agencies and auditions in your area, contact them with your information and hope they reply. Don't give up, keep emailing them until someone replies.
Step 5... BE Easy going
Be outgoing and friendly to everyone you meet that is involved in the film industry.
Find a way to network and go to as many events as you can.
Be careful of any scams and porn directors who promise you stardom.
Be patient, stay positive and keep submitting your work to directors and agencies.
Be ready for the moment you do get the big break and do your best.

I put my 15" polaroid LCD on my picnic table to watch outside. The video went black after the sun hit it for awhile. Now, when inside the TV works for about 10 seconds, then goes black. I'm guessung the sun burned something out and I've ruined the set. Any ideas?
