It’s been four years since Peyton Westlake (now played by Arnold Vosloo) became the Darkman of the city streets. A man who haunts the night stopping crime where ever it may be and using the funds gathered to further his research into creating a permanent synthetic skin that will one day return him to normal.
In the new film DARKMAN II: THE RETURN OF DURANT it is revealed that Robert Durant (Larry Drake) did not die in the previous film but that the accident put him into a coma in which he is just now awakening. Durant has new plans in taking over the city by creating high tech weapons that he can sell to anyone who has the money to pay. Realizing that his old nemesis is still alive, Westlake will stop at nothing to prevent Durant from gaining control of the city once again.
With a teleplay by Steven McKay (story by Robert Eisele and Lawrence Hertzog) due to the straight to DVD nature of the film it lacks the grandiose of the previous film and has less action sequences but the film is still better then many of the teleplays produced for television. If there is a fault in this film it is that it relies too much on what was established in the previous film and never sets out to do anything new on its own.
Although he is a very good actor Vosloo is not as charismatic as Liam Neeson and plays the character very bland although this could also be because of director Bradford May, who doesn’t bring the same style to the material as Raimi did.

I have been a student at The U.K., living there for the past 9 years. I have a student U.K. visa but am considered a Russia Citizen. Last March I decided to apply for a Schengen Visa in order to visit Finland, Italy and France. I was informed that the Schengen Visa has to be applied for in the Embassy of the country which I would be visiting first. The first country I was planning to visit, was Finland. I applied and was granted a Schengen Visa at the Finnish Embassy. The Schengen Visa I have been granted at the Finnish Embassy is a multi-trip visa, which is valid until October for 30 days of stay maximum. At the point when I was applying for the Visa, I was not aware of the length of my stay at either of the above mentioned countries. And although my family planned a week-long stay at Finland, we only ended up making a visit to Finland for a one-day trip. I have since decided not to visit Italy. I am now planning to visit my friend in Nantes, France. I was wondering if I need to submit any further documents/ Invitations on my arrival at France and whether my Schengen Visa would still be acceptable.
