While some hot Hollywood actresses still have issues or apprehensions towards posing in the buff, the same definitely can’t be said for Kate Hudson. In a recent interview, the blonde bombshell daughter of the equally vivacious Goldie Hawn claims that she enjoys nude photo shoots immensely. Baring her bod for the cameras, apparently, is a real treat for her.
The actress, who rose to fame when she played the notorious band-aid Penny Lane in Cameron Crowe’s Almost Famous, made a pact with herself to do more birthday suit shoots to add to her roster. She said that the creative, artistic intentions of the photographer have always been something of interest to her.
Kate said: "I love doing them and I will do more. It's fun. Also, I've come to appreciate the skill of the photographer. It's a real art. I'm very interested in that side of it."
She also added that she would be willing to “do anything” in order to snag an acting role she really wanted, even if that meant that she would have to expose the entirety of her body to millions of viewers. This is a pretty bold statement considering how cutthroat Hollywood deals go.
She claimed: "It depends on the movie and depends on the circumstance, but nudity is always something that is an issue for women. I am pretty comfortable with that - but as long as it works for the movie.”
She went on to say: "Nudity is normally the biggest issue that I think about in a movie. But if I wanted a part I would pretty much do anything I needed to in order to get that role."
Kate’s latest project is the wedding-themed chick flick Bride Wars, where she stars opposite The Devil Wears Prada actress Anne Hathaway. She is also slated to appear in the highly anticipated movie musical Nine, directed by Rob Marshall of Chicago fame. Besides Hudson, Nine has plenty of other stunning actors in its cast, including Daniel Day-Lewis, Marion Cotillard, Penelope Cruz, Nicole Kidman, Fergie, and Dame Judi Dench.
