The simple and the most excellent method to gain healthy muscle mass and building your body is by following a proper diet and an excellent exercise routine. If you keep this in your mind, you will surely gain muscles positively. If you ignore this, none of your gained mass would be called muscles at all.

It is crucial to have a proper diet. There are countless hormonal cycles that your body passes through each and every day. If you try to understand these hormonal cycles and the influence they have on the food that you eat, you will come to know how it metabolizes and gets absorbed in your body. Just for instance, consumption of sugar leads to the secretion of insulin which plays a very important part in bodybuilding if you know the limits of your consumption.

The major role of insulin is to drive the glucose into the muscles. It later gets stored as muscle glycogen. After a rigorous workout, the muscle glycogen gets completely used up by the body. If after the workout, a fruit drink rich in sugar (carbohydrates) is consumed, it gives the muscles to store the glycogen in the same process. Other hormones that keep changing daily are the ones are testosterone, glucagon, cortisol, etc. To take optimum benefits of these hormones, it is essential to plan your diet and exercise regime properly.

It is more than enough if you exercise 3 or 4 days a week. But, you will have to see to it that the exercises are intense. Use of low weights with increasing repetitions will be beneficial in burning fats. But for bodybuilding, you will have to make use of heavy weights and fewer repetitions. You can begin with low weights and increase them according to your increasing muscle strength.

A proper diet is 85% responsible for bodybuilding and recovery of muscles after they get exhausted during the exercise routine. A positive pairing of a proper exercise and balanced diet at the right time will surely help in building of muscles soon.
