Christina Aguilera is the latest Pop CD released by the extremely talented Christina Aguilera who once again has delivered a brilliant collection of tracks. I’m confident Christina Aguilera fans, and Pop fans alike will be pleased with this one.

Christina Aguilera literally grabs your attention right from the very beginning with Genie In A Bottle and won’t let go until the very last note of the very last song Obvious, which by the way is another great track.

Pop music fans will recognize some of the well known guests that have been assembled to play along with Aguilera on several of the tracks. Artists like Micheal Thompson and Tim Pierce just to name a couple.

Overall Christina Aguilera is an outstanding release. Quite possibly Christina Aguilera's best to date. Really spectacular from beginning to end. If you're even mildly into Pop music you'll enjoy this album.

While this entire album is really very good some of my favorites are track 2 - What A Girl Wants, track 9 - When You Put Your Hands On Me, and track 12 - Obvious

My Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 1 - Genie In A Bottle. Wow!

Band co-founders Lorrie Ruiz and Joe Doria have created a tight musical unit and a satisfying record. Ms. Ruiz' voice is authentically soulful and Doria's Hammond Organ and Fender Rhodes electric piano captures the sound and feeling of the McCann, Joe Zawinul (yeah, he played in Weather Report but check out his song "Country Preacher" with Cannonball Adderly for the essence of soulful piano) and other keyboardists from back in the day.

Lorraine Reid dazzles her listeners with the perfect balance of vocals, just like the classic soul, rock and pop singers did back in the day. This timeless track would fit right in with the best of soul and funk in any age.

Thinking of buying that second-hand DJ equipment for sale in the classifieds? It may be worth your while to consider all the options before you make an impulsive purchase. The price might look irresistible, but a cheap buy is not necessarily the best buy over the longer term.

The likes of Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette, and Dolly Parton evoke images of traditionally-clad country singers decked in western-style frocks and ensembles. These are all great artists in their own and rights and have held supremacy in more ways than one. However, at present, new artists have continued to reshape and slowly change our perceptions regarding women in country music. Today, country love songs are not just about heartaches and broken relationships anymore.

Despite their recent loss to Lady Antebellum for the Best Country Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals Award at the 52nd Grammy Awards, Sugarland’s dynamic duo of Kristian Bush and Jennifer Nettles have already solidified their position as part of the country music scene’s newest crop of talents representing the modern country sound with their unique brand of country music songs.

The year 2008 was a banner year for country artist Darius Rucker. This was the year that he released his debut country album entitled, “Learn to Live” via Capitol Records Nashville, setting the country music blog universe all abuzz with his crossover album. Of course, we all know Rucker as the front man of the now defunct band “Hootie and the Blowfish,” which also had its share of hit songs and awards at the height of its popularity. Indeed, nobody knew what to expect from him.
