I love internet radio. Many of them commercial-free music in genres you’d never hear on broadcast radio is the main reason I love it. As soon as there is a portable device that will let me listen to internet radio wherever I go, I will gladly leave my iPod at home. My favorite web radio stations are the offerings by radio-time.com, especially stations in category, and DJ's playlist is incredibly varied, playing songs from Johnny Cash between Nas, Interpol and Amy Winehouse. I have discovered more new music that I subsequently listened to than any other source. Some online station's staff is awesome and it never sounds like public radio (take that as you will). This radio-time.com got my A+++ recommending, so check it out when you have a chance.
