Recording Vocal Rehearsals

I want to record my vocal rehearsals then transfer them to my computer or play outloud.  What is a very good digital voice recorder, MP3 player, or ipod to do this.  I don't want to hear a lot of static and I don't want to pay more than a hundred dollars.  BUT if there is really something someone considers excellent, I would be willing to go up to three hundred.  Please help.
