Support These Musicians Present First Featured Artists

Support These Musicians is proud to introduce our first four featured artists. Our non-profit group aims to promote unsigned musicians and serve as a resource centre for aspiring musicians, 100% free of charge. No catches.

Each of our featured artists have a page dedicated to them giving a brief rundown of their music and details on how to contact and support these musicians. Due to an overwhelming response to our call for unsigned musicians we are still in the midst of sifting through each musician with a fine tooth comb. Musicians who do not receive a featured page will be placed on a page with a text link to their music site of choice.

The staff at Support These Musicians have a variety of experience in every area of the music industry and we want to impart this experience and knowledge to unsigned and aspiring musicians.

The first act on our site is Mojo Risin’, a blues-rock outfit from Michigan. Their meticulous attention to detail is easily overlooked as their songs, on initial listening, flow freely. On closer analysis their dynamics & vocal harmonies are quite outstanding. Their single ’Preacherman Mike’, is one such song. For fans of The Band, The Flying Burrito Brothers or Crosby, Stills & Nash, then Mojo Risin’ are a must for your collection. Currently Mojo Risin’ are in the studio working on a follow-up single. No release date has been set.

Bob Findlay is a Scots-born musician who resides in Tasmania. His music is akin to the likes of The Rolling Stones, The Faces, Lou Reed & Warren Zevon. His all-guns-blazing approach will take the listener back to the early 70s when bands such as Free, Yes, The Faces & The Stones were peaking. Bob Findlay defines ’swagger-rock’

Grey Water are a father and his two sons from Greer, U.S.A. The family intimacy is palpable on listening. Their songs vary from Nirvana-esque to country-rock & is performed almost as if they’re different bands. Their diversity is quite astounding.

Tom Mair is a guitar wizard. His attention to detail and ability as a guitarist is second to none, utilising effects to their fullest capacity without making the effects the highlight but merely as a tool to highlight his dazzling guitar work. Fans of Satriani & Stevie Vai will trully appreciate the music of Tom Mair.
