The Different Types of Electric Guitar Available in the Market Today

An electric guitar is a type of music instrument that uses vibration from its steel-cored strings, which will convert into electric current. This signal need to be amplified to give various tonal affects which then further convert into final sound which can be acoustic or electric sound.

These devices are commonly used by guitarists to add distortions and equalizations to the music as well to shift the phases of the sound frequencies. In some cases, this is use by amplifiers to change the sound.

In recent times, the guitar is a one of the most popular types of musical instruments that is used by almost all musicians. Despite traditional music, guitar is popular and it is used among all the type of music like rock and roll, country, music, jazz, and blues and ambient. The Ambience is a new age type of music. The importance of guitar is known by the fact that it is used in contemporary classical music. This music instrument is a part of most popular songs in twenty century.

Some specialized steel guitars are used for different purpose and they are considered as different instruments.

Electric guitar
The electric guitar is originally designed by some electronic professionals, manufacturers, so electronics guitar contain feature of both mechanics, electronics.The electric guitar is made up of solid bodies, and they depend up on electromagnetic pick-ups and amplifiers to give sounds. These amplifiers are not dependent upon any resonance or hollow body to enhance sound.
There are several examples of electric guitars are available today for example fender Stratocaster which has three pick ups and it has treble pick-up near bridge and bass pick-ups at the center and near neck.

Solid body electric guitar
The solid body electric guitar has steel strings with three magnetic pickups, the back, middle and front pick-ups. The back pick-ups are located near to the bridge, it has offset angle of ten degree towards the fingerboard that is underneath the lower strings, and this will give more functionality to the user. The treble pole, which is at an angle to the bridge, will allow strings to emit harmonic sound. This Stratocaster has a switch that works with pick-ups with individual combinations. This guitar is known for its high-pitched streams and sharp body and it has single coil pickups.

Guitar Pickups and Harmonic Content
There are three pick-ups for electric guitars for example fender Stratocaster, which allows the player to adjust the quality of sound by picking the signal, used during each pick-up. There are some volume controls options are available known as knobs.

Electric brass guitar
There are four kinds of string electric brass namely E, A, D, G which is been toned with lowest frequency at 41.2 Hz. This is a same tuning that you can apply in acoustic bass. The highest frequency that can be produce by G4 is 392 Hz. You can tune B-E-A-D-G with the lowest frequency B0 at 30.87 Hz for example; you can tune these six strings-B-E-A-D-G-CS. The fretboard, which is loner than electric guitar can be of length 90 cm.
