What Methods Do You Use To Relax-Out?

You can't deny that we live in a stressed out, high pressure world. It is not so unusual to come home from work or even a trip to the store and need some serious relax time. Maybe someone lied to you and did not come through with what was promised, and it eats you up. I mean it is time to get into the zone and forget about what is bothering you.

Either you are rich or poor. If you are poor, than you definitely need some relaxation so you can get away from the monetary blues. If your rich, other things may trouble you. For instance, getting a security guard to protect you from poor people! Just the act of driving can be very angering. Marital issues are another form of stress.

No matter what, people are less relaxed nowadays. Lots of forms of relation are available. Just search the internet and you will find some interesting, to put it mildly, ways of reducing tension, some being guaranteed to work magic instantly.

Realistically speaking, let me suggest playing the guitar. No magic here, music is a bonus, but guitar playing is so involved and soulful that it must be considered one of the best ways to release tension. The process of learning to play requires great focus. It taxes your memory and involves other brain functions, allowing you to forget your woes, even for a short time.

Experienced players can get involved in playing some of their favorite tunes and going into the zone, unaware that anything else exists. Learning your scales and chords and how to use them will leave little time to pout about your issues. Concentration is the key here. I love to play scales and improvise for hours, I also am amazed every time I play a Hendrix piece at how much he thought out of the box and used his knowledge in an unconventional, somewhat quirky way when he exploded on the scene. And for his whole career.

One thing about playing a guitar, it is quite addictive and you will never stop learning and improving your skills. Take it from Jimi, If nothing else good is going on, "I still have my guitar" is the way I look at it also.

Relax, enjoy and play your guitar. Or, go buy one and take some quality lessons. Watch your troubles melt away!
