Why Download When You Can Stream?

Downloading and streaming music are two popular activities among web users. When you sign up to music download and streaming sites, you can enjoy listening to your favourite hits, as well as discovering new music, instantaneously. Rather than purchasing CDs online and having to wait for delivery, you can simply buy the download and pull it from the net right onto your computer - sometimes in just seconds.

However, streaming services mean that you can simply click on a song on a website and it will play back to you immediately. This sort of service is hard to beat and, if you're just looking to listen to a few tunes while you work or browse the net, or want to put on some background music at a party - or even when you're just relaxing on your own - streaming is a convenient tool.

So why would you bother downloading music when you can simply stream it?

Well, downloading music means that you get to possess the song on your computer rather than having to access it online every time you want to listen to it. For many music fans, this is definitely a plus. After all, most people listen to songs they like more than once, so it's far more convenient to have it stored on your PC so you can access it whenever you want, either on or offline. You can also enjoy the added benefit of being able to add it to your MP3 player or similar portable music device, meaning you can take it with you on the go whenever you leave your home.

Downloaded music may take up valuable space on your hard drive - something that streaming music is fantastic as a remedy for, should you suffer from a lack of hard drive space - but its other benefits are sure to outweigh this problem. Being able to listen to a song as and how you want to is a big convenience for many, and you can then burn it onto blank CDs for your own personal mixes, take it with you on your MP3 player or add it onto a USB stick to transfer it to any of your other computers.

An MP3 music download is an excellent way by which you can further grow your own music collection - so if you're thinking about signing up to a service and downloading your music - from legal services, of course - then now is a fantastic time to get started.

By: R. S. Rasnick | 02/01/2010
The Carvin Bolt-T is a great playing and sounding instrument, but its principal feature might just be the cost. We asked for numerous upgrades (including a flamed maple top), and the instrument was still less than $1,000 (shipping included). Other guitar makers (including Fender) should take note of what Carvin offers for such an affordable cost.

By: R. S. Rasnick | 02/01/2010
Even though the C25/CR isn't a custom Breedlove, it's still an incredibly high-quality guitar. Just because it doesn't have the same custom options as more expensive Breedlove models doesn't mean it's not a solid instrument. It might be one of the finest acoustic instruments you'll ever play and is one that we recommend highly. The Breedlove Pro Series is worth every dime.
