As a spiritual-futurist, I interpret current events in light of possible macro-universal forces at play leading up to 2012, but not limited to it.

Golden calves everywhere you turn. Think it not strange that we are ONE with our idea of God. So many religions- so many ideas about God. So many different Christian denominations (30,000+). I've only been a member of one denomination and that was for the first twenty six years of my spiritual journey. The last twenty eight years have been in the creation of a totally different God.
As with our man-made heaven, our man-made God(s) take on a personality fashioned out of our environment. Deny it at your own peril; however, far and away most people embrace their image of God because of where they were born. We find different God in Kansas than in Texas. I know. I was a member of a denomination with the same last name, but a different definiting adjective in front of it, thus a diffent slant on God.
But, let's go deeper and wider.
1-Some have created a God who is a glorified spy! He's always looking to find error.
2-Some have created a God who punishes at the smallest things- like their natural dad did.
3-Some have created a God who's like grand dad- handing out favors, but seldom around.
4-Some have created a God like Jesus. Enough said! :-)
Jesus made himself AS God and so should we. Jesus went on to say that anything we ask in his NATURE (a deeper concept than NAME offers). Whatsoever we can ask in the NATUE of God as Jesus, the Christ reveled, IS OURS! I like Jesus have created a God who birthed me into original innocence and not original sin: I was not born in sin and iniquity.
Jesus found God AS a Father and he AS His Son! So shall I, as have I, and So I AM!
