Rainy Mornings

There are some mornings that you just simply want to sleep in. When it's overcast, staying darker than normal, and there's a light mist in the air the conditions are more favorable to lots of things. Things like laying trhere in bed before that first jolt of caffeine and pondering the truths of life. Why is my heart beating? How does it do that?

If you'll allow yourself the time and space to just be thankful, you could even soar.

We take so much of life for granted. It's up and at em day in and day out. I know people who work 24/7 and for what? What have they told themselves? What story is driving and directing their lives? What consciousness are they embracing? One can stay busy 24/7 and not work as well. Work is what you have to do. Living is what you love to do wherein there's space for just BEING.

Religion has historically relegated REST to one day a week. Society and America culture gives us two days of rest (Sat and Sun); however, the church usually has taken away one of those days- and in some denominations, the entire day. But the person who has truly become an victor is that individual who rests from time to time throughout the day- finding peace and acceptance in thos moments which gives strength to go back into the battles.

I hope you will find mornings and days in the road ahead that allow you to come to some conclusions as to what it is that you're really DOING that takes away from BEING. Rainy mornings, like the one we had here in Houston this morning was a glorious reminder to me of what we have available to us each and every morning, if we'll let the I AM that we are, have more say in our life.

Be still and know that I AM (is) God!
