As a spiritual-futurist, I have a BA degree majoring in history. One cannot know the future without knowing the past which holds clues to what is on the horizon. The world is in such a rapid expansion of knowledge that we are close to entering a tipping point that will forever change earth as we know it.
S. I. Hayakawa was a psychologist, semanticist, teacher and writer; however, he was for me in my college days one who left an impression about how powerful WORDS are and the fact that we are people on this planet are limited by OUR WORDS! And yet as a baby Christian I was instructed and I heeded the warning to not go beyond the words of old King James.
We can't go where WORDS or LANGUAGE aren't available to take us.
The GOOD NEWS is that we are living in a time where the richness of words and language are filling our minds and spirits with empowerment to BE that which we already are but had no words to understand that BEING-ness. It's okay to say that God is Consciousness, that he is the prime cause, the downward causation, and that we all swim in the juices of Jung's "collective unconscious". It was just 5-6 years ago when I was rebuked for using the term: one that would surely threaten my salvation.
I can't believe I used to live in such a world. It' so great to be FREE! Woo-Hoo!
So, what is this "unmanifested consciousness"? It is what Jung alluded to as the collective consciousness but more practically it is the merging of nuclear physics and the psychology of the unconscious. Say what! It's the brining together the properties of the atom with the archetypes that have driven humanity and society. Human beings, since time immorial, have intuited the various archetypes and given them names as god and goddesses. They are our mythology!
As Amit Goswami wrote, "Mythology is the history of our souls".
We are living in the most exciting of times. As co-creators in these days, we need to be on the one hand very BUSY people and on the other hand very QUIET! We are living in a proverbial fish bowl and unless we adopt the right LUNGS, we're going to drown. Pulses, rays, photons, and electromagnetic influences are hammering everyone, but not everyone is re-acting the same.
The "unmanifested consciousness" is the Spirit of God calling us to AWAKEN. NOW is the time. We ARE the ones that we've been waiting for. Arise and SHINE for the LIGHT of all lights is calling. The Phonon of all PHOTONS is speaking.
