By: Prof.dr. Ibrahim Khalil | 27/11/2007 | Religion
The Middle verse in chapter (34) of the Old Testament talks about Jacob' sons made a peaceful agreement with Shechem. They were untruthful and dishonest with him as they were planning to destruct the entire city and kill all the men and take all what is in the city (women and animals). And they did!
The Middle verse in chapter (34) of the New Testament talks about John the Baptist was killed and his head was cut!
The Middle verse in chapter (34) of the Noble Quran talks about Say O Muhammad, to the idolaters: Show me those whom you have joined unto Him as partners; and ascribe from among the idols; what have they created? Allah then Nay, you dare not because, they truly have not created anything! For He is Allah, He created all that, the Mighty, in retribution against the disbelievers, the Wise in His command and judgments; He could not have any associate in His kingdom and He commanded that none should be worshipped save Him.
Allah is Asking You This Question (30) is There Any Who Seeks Wisdom?
By: Safaa Abdel-Aziz | 19/03/2008 | Religion
In Verses 54:17, 54:22, 54:32 and 54:40 of the Noble Quran Allah says that He has made the Quran easy to 1) read, 2) write, 3) understand, 4) remember, 5) recite etc. Many thousands of kids can recite the entire Quran by heart. None of God’s scriptures is memorized by heart other than the Quran. So is there anyone who remembers? Is there anyone who will be admonished by it and memorize it? Is there any that seeks wisdom and knowledge and hence be helped to acquire that?

We have seen that Allah does not love (1) the disbelievers, 2) the arrogant, 3) those who reject faith and 4) the proud and the boastful; and there is an essential association between the disbelief and the arrogance. In this article, Luqman, the wise man, is giving great advices to his son then he said that Allah does not like any swaggering braggart, strutting in his step, boasting in front of people. Luqman's wisdom should be given to the students in schools.

Bridging Mind and Heart
By: Stig Kristoffersen | 17/06/2008 | Advice
Knowledge,or “consciousness,” especially in the sense of “contacting” something on the inside serve as a “bridge” between the intellectual and emotive attributes of the psyche, creating a motivation to act (habitual or behavioral). If you have gained knowledge you lack nothing, if you lack knowledge what have you gained?
So what does this mean and how can this help you in your daily life?
First of all, the unification will let you live a more harmonic life and let you focus on the right things
The Stony Heart in the Sacred Books?
By: Prof.dr. Ibrahim Khalil | 30/06/2007 | Humor
One of the inherited doctrines of mankind is that the Quran is quoted or borrowed from the Bible. This Dogma is established upon studies of many prejudiced intellectuals
In my series of articles, it is obvious the Quran is quite different than the Bible.
It is very clear that the Noble Quran preceded the sciences in many aspects while the Bible contradicts with the sciences.
In the topic of heart, one may ask this: Is the Quran quoted from the Bible?
The Bible which talks about the melted heart, the stony heart, the war inside the heart, the table of the heart, the wise right heart, the fool left heart, the food (not blood) inside the heart etc…. or the Quran which gives us a miraculous scientific statement about the heart?
Quiz Yourself- What Rules You - Heart or a Head

Human beings are emotional animals. At the same time we analyze and think with our head. In any given situation, heart or head does not always guide our response. It may be both heart and head that determine our response. For example, you may find one of your co-workers making major blunders.
