Guide to the Impact Exhibition and Convention Centre, Nonthaburi Thailand

The IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Centre, which is located in the suburbs of Bangkok is known for its excellent facilities and services. This state-of-the-art convention centre is the recipient of the “Super brands of Thailand” award for its extraordinary accomplishments. The venue boasts a massive exhibition area which is comprised of more than 140,000 square meters of exhibition space, a huge parking lot that can accommodate 20,000 cars, great international and local restaurants and dining areas and a highly qualified staff. The venue also offers excellent transportation facilities.

The IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Centre includes its own Arena, an Exhibition Centre, the IMPACT Convention Centre and the IMPACT Challenge. The arena boasts twelve thousand seats, is a multi-purpose structure ideal for organising entertainment and sporting events and huge conferences. Equally impressive in design, the Exhibition Centre is custom built for different types of exhibitions and has a space of almost fifty thousand square meters, whilst the Convention Centre decorated in Thai style, has comprehensive facilities and supporting areas and is ideal for conferences and fairly large gatherings. The IMPACT Challenge, a gem of modern architecture, is the world’s largest column-free hall, with a total area of 60,000 square meters.

The convention centre, which conforms to international standards in every way, offers specialised facilities such as lifts for the disabled and an air-conditioned bridge connecting adjacent event complexes. The venue has ample space and facilities for the most complex of trade shows.  For the future, the venue has further plans for expansion and which involve the construction of a four-star hotel; a hotel which will be set the very centre of the centre and which will be connected to the halls via a state of the art sky bridge. This new structure is expected to be completed in two or three years.

The Impact Centre holds is a key exhibition centre in the Bangkok area and with annual events which include the Thailand International Motor Show, Discovery World and the Gems & Jewellery Fair, this centre is busy throughout the year. Getting to the Impact Centre is relatively straight forward with Bangkok International the best airport for inbound flights. You can jump in an official taxi at the airport and this will take you direct to the Convention Centre. Staying in the Nonthaburi area or in the centre of Bangkok itself is your best option for accommodation. The good news is that there is such as an abundance of good hotels that even if you plan things at the last minute, you will always still find good accommodation options for exhibitions here.
