If you are a new network marketer then hearing that you can get leads in your email inbox may sound strange but it's very possible! My curent downline was developed purely from new prospects contacting me via email. These are some of the best leads you can get because they are already interested in what you are promoting. That is what you call a targeted lead.
The primary way I generate targeted leads is by using my blog. Setting up a blog is easy. You can either use free blogging services or set up your own by purchasing a domain name and web hosting. If you can afford to, I highly recommend hosting your own blog. You have more control over the content of your site that way.
Make sure your blog is informative and that you have a contact page set up. You can either place your email address directly on the contact page or set up a form. I set up a form so that my email address is not picked up by spammers. If you use Wordpress, there are free contact form plug-ins that you can install to make it easy for users to reach you.
As you creat new posts that pertain to the products or services that you are promoting for your business, you will eventually begin to receive targeted traffic from the search engines. You would be surprised at some of the reasons leads will contact you for. Some leads are just doing research while others had no idea about the business opportunity until they discovered your blog. Either way, those are the types of leads you want contacting you.
