Upon awakening on March 9, 2009, A Global Garden feels extra motivated after reading the inspirational quote and suggested Good Deed. What is the Good Deed you ask? March 9, 2009: Helping Clean Public Areas. It is a beautifully sunny and warm day in San Diego, so A Global Garden decides to travel down the street to the local public park. No better time to inspire others with random acts of kindness they say to themselves as they travel to their destination.
When they arrive, they can see the park is already pretty clean. This is thanks to the daily Good Deeds of the local people, who utilize trashcans very well! It is refreshing to see people living by random acts of kindness (do unto others, even the earth, as you would have done unto you). However, it is apparent that many, many other parks are not as fortunate, and we need to join forces to beautify those places as well with our random acts of kindness!
After completing a more in depth scan of the park, it is apparent that some trash still needs to be picked up and put in trashcans. Founder and creator of A Global Garden travels with is girlfriend through the park and instantly inspires others with their Good Deeds. A man walks over to A Global Garden and explains how odd it is for him to see someone pick up trash, instead of dropping it onto the ground. He also explains that once a week he travels around his neighborhood and picks up street trash!
We knew it… Random Acts Of Kindness are all around us and so many of us live by Good Deeds yet we are disconnected. Until now!
