Be Here NOW, So based on that statement, what am I doing talking about GOALS The Road Map To The Future. Number one there is only NOW and if you aren't taking advantage of the NOW you are missing your life. After all ”Life is what happens while we are making other plans.” John Lennon sang it on the song "Beautiful Boy"

We, however, as human beings are for the most part living in either the past or the future anyway. Since that is the case it is a good idea to spend that time we are in the future making plans, making planes that we both wish to see materialize and plans we believe will materialize.

Realize when making these plans that the Universe may have different plans for your future. The wonderful part is that the plans the Universe has are always bigger and better than the ones you create yourself. When things are not going the way we want them to, it is always because the Universe is showing us something. Sometimes things are no better or worse than we wish, just different. You can be sure the Universe has a better plan than yours.

If things are much worse than we wish there is an important lesson involved. On occasion that lesson seems hard to understand. Pay closer attention, if you don't get the lesson you can be sure the Universe will give you another version soon and continue to present you with the lesson until you have gotten it. Be sure you feel that you have gotten what was being shown to you. It is a life lesson and always a very important one.

Once you are past that most recent hurdle you can begin to move forward with your life again. It is important to understand that there are these pauses, so to speak, from time to time in life. Usually they present themselves as disasters, but that is only to get your Attention.

Take a little more time than you might think necessary and really look at what you were shown. Frequently the thing that stands out the most is not the center focus of the lesson. Be careful to get the real lesson being presented (there could be more than one, but there will be a core lesson). Until you have resolved that issue, moving on with setting new GOALS and living the rest of your life will be impossible.

Don't let your self get stuck at this point. It frequently seems that you are at a complete impasse and there is no chance that you will ever be able to move on. These roadblocks sometimes last a very long time. It is always because you have not gotten the lesson, and you can be sure the Universe will continue to give it to you until you do.

You always know what is being shown to you, it is just so against your belief system that you are guilty of the particular offense that you won't accept it. Trust me, eventually you will.

The problem here is that after an extended battle with yourself, you often have lost so much of the self confidence that you had before, so much of the Personal Power, that you begin to feel you don't have what it takes to stage the comeback necessary. Incredibly enough, you are right.

All you need to do, however, is to set those goals (What do you really want to BE DO and HAVE now that you have gotten the lesson that was being given you.) After you have picked your life's direction and committed to moving toward it let the day-to-day decisions be made by your AWARENESS not your EGO. You can be sure the EGO was the one responsible for creating the problem you just solved. Realize who is going to accomplish these GOALS. It is impossible to set the GOALS to high. It is only forgetting who is going to accomplish them that will stop you. In one of his Wayne Dyer PBS specials Dr. Dyer says, quoting from the TAO, You aren't DOING anything, you are just being DONE TO. You as Consciousness need to set those GOALS, you as the EGO are the one operating in this corporeal, matter, energy, Space, time and motion reality. It is AWARENESS (the real You) who will put the infinite organizing power of the universe to work for you and there in lies your Personal Power anyway. You only thought you had lost it because you believed that it was your EGO that had it.

Let Your EGO set the GOALS, It thinks it can do anything anyway. Let your AWARENESS manifest them. It really can do anything. Since it is your AWARENESS that is manifesting the GOALS they will either be what the EGO wanted or better so detach yourself from the results and BE HERE NOW, which brings us back to where we started.

Have confidence in that power within you. Winston Churchill said
“NEVER, NEVER, NEVER,  NEVER Give Up.”
