Hell and Heaven

HELL AND HEAVEN

Some believe that there is Hell and Heaven while some don’t. It must not bother us for if there is a hell or heaven throughout our lives ,for then shall the ‘truth’ be enlightened. And the question of can we control this ‘truth’ for the path to Hell or Heaven can’t be answered ,for this truth is just a fate or destiny which makes our lives unique.

We can experience both Hell and Heaven on mother earth. So why do we think of it as an experience after death? As Swami Vivekananda rightly said ‘A finite deed (sin) having an infinite effect (hell) is absurd’. If we think that Hell and Heaven can take us to the extremities of pain and pleasure ,so can we experience it in our own land. That which gives happiness to the mind is heaven and that which gives sorrow to the mind is hell.

The gates of hell are three :desire, anger and covetousness. These three destroys the soul. Therefore these three must be abandoned (Bhagwad Gita).

The civilized world answers to a ‘sin’ (crime) by committing a ‘sin’ (punishment) to it and engulfing it then, in the name of law and humanity. This can be justified, as to control the acts of the guilty or the psychopaths and he is thus given rigorous imprisonment for a certain period or for life. But the criminal can even experience ‘Heaven’ in jail ,for even God can’t control ones life.

But, Death penalties is a ‘stigma’ to humanity for it is just an act of barbarism ,degrading the value of our lives. And the perils of these are innumerable, starting from more aggressive crimes to suicide bombers. The recent uplift of ‘suicide bombers’ are just a by-product of barbaric trend practiced by the civilized world.

Law must be implicated to stop the crime, but must not go barbaric because the impression on the peoples fragile minds for this act are dangerous .

The only solution to a crime or terror for how barbaric it may be, is captive imprisonment and not barbarism. For then shall the value of life shall be realized by all religions ,castes and cultures and then shall the mother earth become a heavenly abode with love and peace, protecting our humanity and our safe existence.
