Surviving on the Cusp of the Aquarian

Do you ever feel like you’re trippin’?  Like your perception of reality is wildly distinct from that of those around you?  Or perhaps you’re lucky enough to have connected with a few other like minded individuals who agree that collectively you are a rare island of consciousness in a muddled sea of distractions.

If this isn’t already happening to you, there may be reason for concern.

I was chatting with a friend recently, when the conversation turned to quantum physics and 2012. My friend showed himself to be quite unversed on the subjects remarking, “Oh yeah, didn’t the Druids say something like the earth is colliding with another planet in 2012?” The Druids? I had to get my bearings with the conversation, so I asked, “Can you even tell me the difference between a quasar and a quark?”  To which he replied, “Well a cork goes in a wine bottle, but I don’t know what that other thing is.”

Numerology forecasts predict that 2009 will be a year of psyche shifting and paradigm conversion; which is merely effectuating well documented predictions of this time dating back thousands of years.  In this fragile transitory period, many will adjust to meet the challenges that will arise. Others, the majority, will not.

Everyone is experiencing a change, but we aren’t all experiencing it the same way.  As the vibrational frequency of the planet increases and shifts, our experiences will continue to diverge. Numerologist Nam Hari Kalsa writes that “Two thirds of the planet will be experiencing intense duality, conflict and rage, while an emerging one third will be evolving into a higher octave of inner-connectivity through our subtle awareness.”

What we’re up against here is unprecedented levels of ambivalence, misinformation and ignorance.  An apocalypse is coming and it’s best we at least attempt to understand it before we proceed.  The dictionary definition of apocalypse is, simply, “revelation.”  Not the end of the world, just the end of the illusion.  We don’t need to know the definition of a quark, but we do need to be aware of the infinite possibilities that its discovery entails.

The trend of spiritual awakening is growing stronger and more widespread.  Understandably, since so many are seeking to come in line with their spirit in order to transcend the lower frequencies that dominated this age and disconnected us from the wisdom of the whole.  As that one third sheds the societal confines to connect to intuition and conscious evolution, we create a revolution of perception and our earthly woes become like a dream in the depth of the divine order.

Throughout the age of “progress” we have sacrificed omniscience for convenience, divine essence for egoism. We have reached a saturation point after the last thirty years in which technological development has surpassed thousands of years of cumulative human efforts.  “Development” appears to be outside of our actual being, but in truth, it is we who are evolving, not from generation to generation but from moment to moment.  Time is literally moving faster and breaking down as the hertz of the Earth’s vibration move higher on the Fibonacci sequence…each year, each month and soon each day.  As our conscious ability expands to accept our role of co-creator of reality, our capacity to influence evolution with each breath will become more apparent.

Each soul inhabiting the Earth at this time chose to be here.  We thought that we would be able to overcome the fear-based mentality and help usher humanity into the Golden Age.  This is the most exciting time to be alive and we’d better not be bored.  Yet when contemplating what to do, even the best intentions can yield equivocation since our system has instilled compliance from birth.

No shortage of schemes and fancy products are already waiting to quell the intense spiritual desires and manipulate the wave of searching souls.  Fanatic and far fetched religions, get-spiritually-rich-quick schemes and subconscious liposuction may be the hot ticket items of the next decade.  However, we must understand that our responsibility, though extraordinary, is quite elementary.

Coming to believe in our innate wisdom and interconnectedness with divine source is good for starters. Simply intending heightened and aligned vibrations will aid us in finding a personal and collective path toward perfect love.

Let go of materialism and greed, envy and competition. These frequencies are in direct opposition to positive conscious shift. Know that you were sent here to be a part of the solution. Choose intuition over institution, evolution over consumption.

By choosing to see through the illusions, we open our potential to the unlimited possibilities that lie outside the box.  Most importantly, we must explore and unlock our consciousness through all of the amazing and powerful mediums we are so lucky to have available to help us dismiss the paradigm of fear.

If all else fails, practice unconditional love. Spirituality is an individual effort that directly influences the collective whole.  Yoga, meditation, hypnosis, channeling, Reiki and even hallucinogenic compounds are just a few options to aid in our conscious connection with the cosmic energy available to help us shift our awareness toward a world in which thoughts manifest effortlessly into reality; a world that can only be found through love and compassion.

The revolution lies within our minds. Common knowledge is poised to encompass these ideals as well as quarks and quasars, and it’s up to us to make it happen.
