Counter Intentions

If you had a belief that the world was flat or that the sun traveled around the earth in an orbit, 500 years ago you would have been among the majority. Any one who professed to believe differently would have been considered a heretic.

Things are much different now. Every one knows that the earth is round and orbits the sun. There are many things that we still have a completely mistaken belief about. How many people have told you “The Lord helps those who help themselves” it says so in the bible.

The truth is that Quote came directly from Aesop’s fables and is not found anywhere in the bible. Our beliefs are like filters through which we experience the world.

When I was about 10 years old may dad took my cousin and I to a football game one Friday evening. At half time my dad bought my Tommy and I each a hot dog. About half an hour later we noticed my cousin crying for no apparent reason. My dad asked him what was wrong, to which my cousin sobbing bitter tears choked out the words, “I’m going to hell.” Dad and I locked at each other completely confused. It was clear that Tommy had been convinced in the last few minutes he was going to hell. “What in the world makes you think that Tommy,” my dad said. Still trembling as he cried his heart out he said, “I just ate that hot dog” Again my dad and I looked at each other dumfounded. Tommy, still whaling but seeing our confusion, said it’s Friday, if you eat meat on Friday the priest told me you would go to hell.

Tommy was my mother’s brother’s son and her maiden name was McCullough, very Irish Catholic. Today Tommy is an old man just like me and the Catholic Church has long since changed that rule. I would be willing to bet though that there is still that feeling of guilt when he eats meat on Friday. I’m sure he does eat meat on Friday and I’m sure he isn’t going to hell, but I bet he has an ulcer because of that Transparent belief put in place so many years ago.

Even if the belief was removed because of the churches decision the Transparent counter intention is still there unless Tommy removed it himself. By Transparent counter intention I mean, “oh but you know you shouldn’t eat meat on Friday” That counter intention is not even there in the younger generation. They only heard of an old rule that they were never even asked to follow. Many of Tommy’s generation were eating hot dogs all along because they never BELIEVED they would go to hell anyway. Tommy on the other hand actually believed he would go to hell. I hope you can see what I mean by a Transparent Belief or A Transparent counter intention.

Now how do you get rid of one? The best part is that you don’t even have to know what it is that is blocking the vibration of energy. You can nearly always be sure if there is a problem in your life that you can’t see, nearly always there is an energy blockage and it is nearly always Transparent. (That is why you can’t see it.)

I have discussed before when broken down to its smallest component every things in this universe is energy. Molecules broken down are atoms. Atoms broken down are electrons, protons, and neutron. Neutrons broken down are Quarks, and Quarks are sometimes particles and sometimes energy waves and they switch back and forth from one to the other based on ATTENTION. These are the building blocks of life and the thought ATTENTION that you and I give them is what creates our reality.

We are creating all of the time. Something it did say in the bible is that GOD made us in his own image.

It is as simple to uncreate something, as it was to create it. Remember though, when you create or uncreate something you must do it with LOVE. That’s how GOD does it and it is the way you must do it too. You can’t just pull your ATTENTION away from something you are through with, after all you created it, it’s yours. After all GOD wouldn’t just pull his ATTENTION away from you. What you resist will persist. You have to just let the energy return to that ocean of energy, that Quantum soup that is all around us all of the time. Sometimes you will feel the creation drop off immediately as you let go of the stuck energy. Sometimes you will have to put your attention on it and let it return to that ocean of energy more than once because there are counter intentions supporting the belief. You will know when it is all gone.

Remember you cannot push this creation away…”I’ll get rid of you, you miserable*)@^#(^ “. You have to let it return home, back to its source, with LOVE.

Try this a few times. I guarantee you will be pleasantly surprised.
