2012 Movie Follow Up

Okay, so the two hours and thirty eight minutes wasn't that bad, but the 28 minutes of previews, commericals,  and put away your telephone stuff, sure made me wish I had more than popcorn and soft drink. Okay, I admit it, the M&M's did help! The movie raked in $225,000,000.00 worldwide for the first week end. Not too shabby! 

Let's begin with why I started this web site and why the title before digressing back to the movie.

I began years ago by exploring the "possibilities" and then worked my way through the truly scientific evidence which brought me to the more recent flavors and nuances of the commentaries. The title for the web site seems to be lost on most readers because the email and comments that I receive are from people who are sure that the world won't end and why don't I spend more time on LIFE!

Ahem!  :-)

2012 Final Fantasy says, in case it was just too obvious, that the December 21, 2012 winter solstice and the Mayan long count calendar aren't about the end of the world. The catastrophic calculations are a FANTASY- not real. That said, there are some really interesting scientific factors that are playing into the mix that will challenge us. We are living in very unusual times: strange might be a better word. Could we be entering an interstellar plasma field? Many Russian scientists think so.

Is the sun acting very strange which brings concern to NASA scientists? Yep!

Is there some special planetary alignment around 12.21.2012 that is a reason for concern? Nope!

So, what's all the hype about? We're all living on a planet that is sick because of us and as we peddle towards SEVEN BILLION inhabitants trying to grab as many resources as we can, BIG PROBLEMS will ensue. Thus, we will either kill each other off in COMPETITION, or we will learn to live together in COOPERATION! Me? I think we're headed to an incomprehensible, way beyond our pay scale kind of a leap in consciousness: much like previous "axial age" leaps.

So, forget about building a boat such as George Ure and other survivalists speak. Moving to a 14,000 ft. mountain isn't the answer. Yes, governments are buying mountain top lands and building seed storage caverns in the North Pole, but "let not your heart be troubled" (I think that's a Hannity  line) as we're headed to some uniquely refreshing times.

There's no need to worry about being one of the 144,000 that get a space on the government made ships that can handle whatever it is they think is coming. What's most important is that we get off the treadmill, make life simple, spend more time in meditation, and be a part of the spiritual-energy solution. It doesn't take too many on the same frequency-vibration to change not just our life, but the planet.

And God knows, it needs change (not the Obama type either).  :-)
