The concept of life without death is the act of living life endlessly, without any point of termination. Death is a discharge from the duties of life; it entails a change of existence, it is an absence of life. According to Lucretius a Roman poet, and philosopher, he expresses the view of pantheism about death, that death is nothing to us, and no concern of us, because when the union between the body and the spirit has been disrupted
that there is nothing we can do, so the issue of death should be accepted as a common fate of all.
The idea of life without death is seen as non existent by the school of dualism, because they argue that without death, there is no life. They believe that one exist with the other, and equally defines it. Life is a circle which without a point of exit, it cannot be
defined as a circle. How do we understand life, when we neglect death?
According to an Islamic worshipper known as Bediuzzaman, he said that every being in this world did not exercise choice, when he or she was coming to this world, so the idea of when to leave this word is totally inevitable. Some religious sect, believe that one can leave the world, at any time, provided that he has fulfilled his reason of ultimate existence.
The issue of improving medical technology to the extent, of retaining the aging population, is seen by many as totally unnecessary, because there are so many health related problems associated with ageing. In some western societies, the aged is seen as a set of unproductive people, who will only constitute what economist term as ‘liabilities’.
In a recent research conducted by Yahoo, they found that many people were
worried about the issue of overpopulation and unlimited scarce resources. At the moment the unabated cosmic problem of limited resource allocation, has not been completely addressed, so the issue of retaining the aged is to totally unnecessary.
