A Review Of the Famous London Business School

We have all heard about famous colleges and universities like Johns Hopkins, Standford, Berkely, Oxford, Cambridge, Sorbonne and more. When it comes to more specialized education like business schools the first I think of is Harvard.

Are there any famous business schools in London? I guess many people will say London School of Economics. Besides being a heavy authority among scientists all over the world, we rockn'roll lovers know that Mick Jagger attended this school sometime in the sixties. However, this is no MBA school but a college of social science. Of course there are MBA schools in London, did you expect something else?

London business school is not among the oldest institutions. Actually it was established as late as in 1965 as an international school which would provide postgraduate degrees in finance and management including MBA courses, as well as non-graduate courses for business people.

Over 80% of the students out of around 1000, come from outside of the United Kingdom. Many students are sponsored by employers, or have scholarships and bank loan schemes.

This London School is among the top five ranked business schools worldwide, above the Yale MBA School, or the MIT. The executive MBA was ranked 3rd in the world, and the number one MBA programme in Europe. This London school is generally agreed to be one of the best MBA schools worldwide.

A school of this kind should provide you with the opportunity to improve the self, and allow you to create school development plans that will cater to your career. Growth and understanding are essential to the developing business, and school development plans should be studied carefully before a choice is made; This London School has many development plants, which you can discuss with an advisor before embarking on a course.

This school in London will also help you to develop a plan of your own to guide you when you go into the business world. Part of their courses will concentrate upon business and school development plans, which will teach you how to utilize your plans in the real world. The School also has a Masters programme called the Sloan Fellowship, which introduces the scholars to the latest management thinking, and is a centre for the exchange of knowledge and skills in general management and leadership, while allowing students to concentrate upon specialist areas. This Fellowship is only on offer at a few schools of this kind worldwide.
