I just watched the movie Eragon, It sucked and I knew it would but still, I love the book and I thought ti might be fun (it wasn't, it sucked really bad).The book in complex and slow and beautiful with a lot of emotions and questions about the way people make choices and the effect of those choices, the dragon is as much a character, with a sense of humor and strong feeling as the main human character and there are a lot of technical details about magic and strength and fighting.The movie however looks like an hour and a half music video with no music, there are barely any dialogs, the characters are flat, and a beautiful deep debate about the nature of choices and taking sides and freedom is turn into a basic shallow good and evil battle.IK was wondering if Christopher Paolini made any statements regarding the movie, if he liked it or hated it?
