Choices

I sat down with God one time; his drink of choice was vodka and lime. We talked about many things, he told me he didn’t like basketball and he hated to sing. We sat there alone and talked things out, he told me it doesn’t matter if your mad you have every right to doubt. God enjoys watching us all, but he can’t hold our hand every time we take a fall. He wants us to be happy but makes us all work, he’s excellent to complain to, he wont be a jerk. But on that day we talked up a storm, he got drunk as can be so I set his alarm. He told me his phone was off the hook, and the door was now locked, he went into he tomb and rolled the rock. The knife sits under my bed, never knowing when it will shed, my tiny ray of hope lies in that knife, and maybe I’ll stay to live through this night. So I went home and prayed.
I asked God for forgiveness from all my past days.
I know God will forgive the worst of all sins, but can he forgive me if I killed a man.
I put a 9mm to a man’s head for screwing with me, I told him to look into my eyes and tell me what he see’s.He said “ he saw a broken man with no way out, I cocked back the hammer, and I began to pout. That man did not beg or even shed a tear, he just told me to go home and look in the mirror.
I finally pulled the trigger that was aimed at his head; I unloaded one bullet and blew off his head.I went home that night and prayed to the wall, cause the Lord turned his back and rolled me the ball.I went to my bathroom and looked in the mirror, I saw a tall building out my window with an even taller pier.I climbed to the top, and jumped off the roof, when I hit the cement ground my face went aloof.Picture me in slow motion hitting the rock, my spinal column crumbled like a grandfather clock. My shoulders went next and snapped all my bones, now my body is crushing; the asphalt is setting the tone.
As my legs smash into my pelvis, and compress so quick, if you saw my body now it would be bloody and sick. Now I’m lying in a lake of blood, I bleed from my cracked skull, my brain looks livid.
I open my eyes and see all the stars in the sky; I ask myself did I finally die.I hear a dim voice saying call the cops, my mind finally realizes, the thoughts finally pop.On this day God looked away, he said I rolled you the ball so you took the fall. What I can see in the eyes of our Lord, he watches us all suffer, he sits there outscored.
He puts on his goggles and flips on his torch; he lights up the land and see us all scorch. He picks us all off one by one, we lay there to rest in our dark black coffins. But once God finally realized what I had done, he forgot to turn on the escalator for me, his own son.Day in and day out, our world leaks out of the death spout.
