Pressure or swollen tissue on the nerve that passes from the wrist to the hand constricting the nerve where it passes through the Carpal Tunnel can result in loss of sensation in the thumb and first three fingers. It is thought to be caused by people whose occupation involves using their wrist in a repetitive movement such as, assembly work, using a screwdriver, typewriter or computer.
There is also some evidence that women who suffer from swelling in the wrists at the time of menopause also develop carpal tunnel syndrome.
Carpal tunnel syndrome is a common disorder, which can be treated with surgery or conservative treatment. The most commonly used conservative treatment options are wrist splinting, injection of corticosteroids into the carpal tunnel, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, systemic steroids, pyridoxine (vitamin B6) and diuretics.
The most common treatment in the USA appears to be using a splint to immobilize the wrist in a neutral position in order to avoid flexion or extension of the wrist. The flexion of the wrist increases the pressure on the carpal tunnel. This treatment option seems to be the result of the cost involved rather than what is the best treatment for Carpal Tunnel. Surgery is more cost-effective than splinting for carpal tunnel syndrome in the Netherlands.

Vitamin B taken together as a team perform vital biological processes including aiding in the healing process for congestive heart failure and reduces fluid retention. It is required for the development of red blood cells.
Vitamin C is essential for defending the body against pollution and infection. It enhances the immune system. Vitamin C aids in growth and repair of both bone and tissue by helping the body produce collagen.
Vitamin E supplies Oxygen to the heart and the other muscles in the body. Accelerates wound healing and aids in the functioning of the immune system.
Calcium helps in the rebuilding of the nerve sheath, vein and artery walls.
Ginkgo Plus widen blood vessels, increases circulation and speeds blood flow in the capillaries.
Potassium is essential for proper functioning of the heart muscle and for regulating proper fluid balance.
Magnesium is needed to keep the proper pH level in the blood and helps in the metabolism of calcium and vitamin C.
M.S.M maintains the development of the body's protein by forming flexible disulfide bonds between certain amino acids and in maintaining the strength of connective tissue. This allows water and nutrients to flow freely into cells and allows toxins to flow freely out of the cells. M.S.M increases athletic stamina and helps eliminate muscle soreness. M.S.M is a natural supplement that is getting a lot of attention due to its role in tissue healing at the cellular level. It is a natural organic sulfur that comes from rain fall and is found naturally in the human body.
