Influenza, also known as the flu, is a virus that causes an infection in people. For most people the infection is mild but uncomfortable and in some rare cases it can be severe and even deadly. People that already have weak or compromised immune systems can easily die from the flu. People such as infants, the elderly or people with HIV or AIDS are at an increased risk.

There are medications that might help treat your symptoms but they will not be able to cure the flu. A body detox can help, however by cleaning out the toxins that help cause the virus to build up in the first place. The quicker you rid your body of the harmful substance, the quicker you will get better.

It may be possible to rid yourself of the flu in 24-72 hours with a body detox. You will recover from the flu and feel even better than you did before getting sick in the first place. The type of detox you choose will vary to your needs and what is available to you but a liquid based body detox diet is probably your best option when you are trying to recover from the flu.

Even for those of us that are able to fight it off, the flu can be very miserable causing you to miss school, work, time with friends and family and more. So how can body detox help you? Well first off, it can help you prevent getting the flu in the first place as you will be a healthier person with a stronger immune system. If you already have the flu, it can help you rid your body if the virus much quicker.

Many people do not understand the symptoms that will result from a body detox. They start feeling bad and they want to go back to their old ways claiming that they felt better before. They may feel poorly and low on energy during the detox process which causes them to go back to the thing they were trying to detox which reverses the process.

You may decide to detox as an effort to make yourself healthier and so that you feel better and have a better lifestyle. The problem for many people is that they do not realize that there will be symptoms involved in this process and when they start to feel bad, they think it is not working. Or they do not want to tolerate the bad feeling until it has had time to pass and they give up on the program.

Some of the symptoms of a body detox may include: Tiredness and sluggishness, irritability, trouble sleeping or sleeping too much, muscle weakness and fatigue and/or lack of energy and motivation.

If you want to succeed with your intentions with your body detox then it is important that you wait it out even if you do not always feel better right at first. Remember that your body reserves its energy for the important internal functions of the body so you might be low on energy during this process. You should try to take it easy physically and limit your social activities until your detox is complete and your body has time to begin to regenerate.

What you may mistake for your body getting sick or feeling bad is actually it trying to recover, remove the toxins and replenish itself. When you have patience and wait it out and when you understand up front that these symptoms may occur, it will make it all easier for you. When it is all over, you will feel all the improvements from your detox and you will feel much better than you did before.

So what exactly happens when you cleanse your body? When you detoxify, you will:

1. Cleanse your colon with special herbs designed to clean out colon debris, parasites and toxic plaque.
2. Replenish the good bacteria that have been lost while cleansing the colon. Good bacteria help protect the flora balance and protect you by boosting your immune system.
3. In the final step, use detoxifying herbs, vitamins, amino acids and minerals to cleanse your liver, blood, brain, tissues and other parts of your body.

Now, how do you make this happen? There are different methods for you to achieve these results. One of the easiest and safest ways is probably to purchase a detoxification kit or body cleansing system. There are many different products out there on the market for you to choose from.

These packaged systems come with all the things you need to detoxify your body as well as instructions on how to use them properly. Normally, it is simply a pill or sometimes a liquid or both that you consume orally. This will be made up of many different natural ingredients blended together in a formula that helps you cleanse and detoxify your body. There will be separate bottles and different ingredients to help you replenish during and after the detoxification.

You need a system that can help you by: Removing heavy metals such as lead and mercury, detoxify your liver, kidneys and other organs even the brain, replenish the friendly bacteria with a pro-biotic formula and recharge your immune system with a powerful antioxidant support
