CDRN: Collaboration and Actions for times of disasters

While the people of flood affected regions of Andhra Pradesh and Karnatka are trying to rebuild their lives, NGOs, Donors, Suppliers are also offering help.

To distribute and match essential supplies agreeing to needs of disaster stricken areas Corporate Disaster Resources Network, CDRN under the auspices of the NDMA and an initiative of CSO Partners and Aidmatrix Foundation, has emerged as a common platform for multiple relief agencies as well as Corporate donors. CDRN  is helping in tracking donations, needs and  in managing solicited and unsolicited financial gifts in kind and discounted pricing donations in Disaster.

In the program initiated by Corporate disaster Resources Network many donors recipients have come forward to reach survivors of massive flood. Many federations with CDRN have offered support and assistance of clothes, food, medicines, water purification tablets and many more required products.

 Redemption Research for Health and Educational Development Society (RRHEDS), a recipient user of the CDRN highlighted the need of  Water Purification Tablets and Aquatabs has donated 64,000 Water Purification Tablets through CDRN which have been dispatched to provide 1,80,000 Litres of clean drinking water to the affected
families. Akron Pharmaceuticals has also donated 25000 water purification tablets. Hind Pharma and Rambo Leela India have offered 5,00,000 (Five Lakh) water purification tablets and Anti microbial masks to CDRN recipient users to prevent water borne infections and any epidemic possibilities in flood affected areas. Mashika Agritech had donated 700 kgs of biscuits for the usage of  flood affected victims. M/S Relief Suppliers has offered first-aid emergency kits and other relief items to NGOs.
