Non Profit Fundraising

We have entered into the Computer Age. Well, some time ago. The first commercial printers and computers came out around 1985. Some experts on computer history would be able to tell you the exact date, however this is not my realm of expertise nor the focus of this article.

So, having reached this milestone in technology, fundraising has evolved only a little over the years. Traditional Fundraising has been achieved with success or it would not being still going on today. For example: cookie sales, coupon book sales, magazine subscriptions, ice cream sales, book sales, and now the more evolved programs of ink and toner cartridge recycling along with cell phones.

While all of the above does some good, there is yet a more efficient program that meets the needs of today’s busy Non-profits that are always short on volunteers to help with the fund raising.

The fundraising always falls on the shoulders of the most social people who are always willing to help. It takes this along with a little discipline to pull of any successful fund- raiser. The social butterfly uses enthusiasm to solicit support for the cause. Bless them for what they do that we may feel we cannot at times!

The program I make mention of, is a program that does not require anyone to carry inventory to sell and does not require the collection of money from 100s of volunteers and the tracking of the goods. Nor does it require recycling used toner or ink cartridges, or cell phone only to find out not all are covered in the recycle program and must be disposed of elsewhere.

The Program mentioned is offered by an online company www.BriteChoice.com.

BriteChoice is an online ink and toner cartridge superstore. Their fundraising program makes it easy for any non-profit group to raise funds all year long. The benefits are:

Apercent of all sales generated by the non-profit are donated back to the non-profit in the form of cash/check. All that is needed is the non-profit to sign-up for the program and then is given a coupon code to promote with on all outgoing correspondence and to promote to family and friends along with businesses to use the coupon code when ordering their ink and toner supplies and the person using the code gets 5% off and the non-profit then get 5% of the sale. BriteChoice.com tracks the sales on their site and cuts a check every month to the non-profit.

Non-profits can get free radio ads to promote this special fundraising opportunity along with free press releases to newspapers and television news.

I hope this help to bring fundraising into the 21ist century and makes things much more simpler and rewarding.
