The reality is that Acai juice alone is not enough to lose any significant or even minor amounts of weight. On top of that Acai juice is very expensive and arguably overpriced right now because of all the hype. The key to this diet is the fiber shake, but if that's whats doing it then why not do a real cleanse and lose up to 10x more weight!

Will you really lose weight? Although Acai Berries present many health benefits such as high amounts of anti-oxidants and many other nutrients vital to good health that's about as far as it goes. The key to the acai berry juice diet as promoted on the Oprah Winfrey show is the fiber shake that is meant to accompany it. So for health benefits Acai Juice gets a 8/10 for weight loss it gets a 1/10.

The Banana Diet: So the origins of this diet are quite sketchy and the testimonials even more so. Basically you are to eat as many bananas as you want for breakfast with some warm water and then eat whatever you want for lunch and dinner. Apparently an actress did this to lose weight for a movie role.

Will you really lose weight? At this time its far too hard to tell, its possible that if you were to eat a balanced lunch and dinner that you could experience weight loss. However the diet is just focused on bananas at breakfast and nothing else, there's simply no reason why this would work. The best part about this diet is that it encourages people to eat bananas, which is a great way to get added potassium and fiber into the diet.
