- As gout is caused by purines , so limits purine rich food from your diet like meats (heart, liver, kidneys), and seafood (shrimps, mussels).
- Increase your water intake drink at least 2 lit . pure water daily.
- Eliminate fried and greasy food from your diet .
- Go for complex carbohydrates containing food like potatoes, rice, whole cereal products, pasta), green vegetables and fresh fruits.
- Avoid simple Carbohydrates like - sweets .
- In order to decrease frequency and intensity of gout attack drink at least 2 glasses of skim milk daily .
- Always go for low fat dairy products in order to normalize serum uric acid concentration
