Here's Three High Protein and Low Fat Foods That You Can Eat On a Budget

There are many different kinds of foods that you should eat regularly. Especially in the protein department. I really only thought protein came in meats that were packed with fat.

Of course, I was incredibly wrong. There are hundreds of protein sources out there that you can eat that are high protein and low fat.

What I'm to tell you about next are some sources of protein that you might not think about eating that are really good for you, and fairly cheap as well.

Number One - Almonds

I know that some of you are thinking that I could have chosen something different for a protein source, however, I figured I would make an exception because almonds really are special.

It is true that almonds tend to be very fatty but, the type of fat that they contain is great for you. This is why almonds are still on the list. They have Omega-3 fats, which are excellent for your mind.

Basically, almonds have more protein in one serving than an egg. This means that almonds are the perfect snack. You can eat many and get your protein fast.

Protein Source #2 Tuna

Seafood wise, tuna is where it is at for protein. Let me explain. While tuna is completely underrated by many, because really, really good for you even though it comes in a small pack, Tuna contains nearly 27 grams of protein in a small single serving.

Now it makes sense people love eating those small packages. Tuna is a protein packed snack like almonds.

This is why why tuna is eaten by many people in many places. You can hardly find another source of food with so much protein, and so little fat.

#3 - Lentils

Now I could have put something else for lentils but some of you don't eat meat out there, so I wanted to have something for you as well.

Lentils contain a fair bit of protein. Lentils have about 18 grams of protein per serving. Also if you need some fiber, lentils have plenty of that too. Which, by the way, does wonders for your digestive system.

Additionally if you have a cholesterol problem lentils will help with that too.

I hope you found something useful after reading this short list of high protein foods that you can use in your daily life. There are tons and tons different sources of protein, but hopefully I helped you figured out some other sources of protein you can eat with this article
