Lose Fat From Neck and Jaws
It seems that there is always at least one body part on each of us that we would like to change. For me it was my neck and jaws. They were too fat. Sometimes I would stand sideways in front of a mirror and pull the fat away from my chin and dream about having that kind of profile but the pizza and burgers always won out until I stumbled across the EODD Diet. Well now I have the profile I always wanted and here is how I did it.
The EODD Diet
It is very difficult to get the body to lose fat from just one specific place and I found the best approach was to go on a reducing diet and my body would look better all the way around. To do this I chose the The Every Other Day Diet (The EODD Diet). I'd stumbled across the EODD Diet on the Internet one day and was intrigued. Jon Benson, who wrote The EODD Diet, stated, "...my personal System for fat loss not only “allows” pizza (and all my other favorite foods)… it DEMANDS that I eat it. I thought, I could go for that. Eat Pizza and lose weight! Yeah Baby!
I discovered that the EODD Diet uses caloric cycling to keep the body's metabolism at full tilt. This means that you "diet" on some days and you enjoy eating on others. Not only does this cause your body to lose weight at a faster rate than traditional low calorie dieting, it is a darn fun way to diet as well! As the pounds began to drop away my neck and jaws began to emerge. One surprising side effect was an increase in the definition of many of my other body parts also.
My Neck And Jaws
I didn't stop with just losing weight with the EODD Diet. I found that there were certain exercises that would tighten my facial muscles giving me much firmer definition of my jaw line and greatly reducing any jowlyness-if that is a word.
Hit The Target With Exercise
Exercising the parts of your body where you would like to see the greatest improvement is the most effective way to get results. By increasing lean muscle tissue, you increase fat burning effects of the EODD Diet and you get the added benefit of a firmer tone. Doing neck and jaw exercises everyday will get results and you will lose fat from your neck and jaws. Exercises are usually done in sets of repetitions. I usually do 12 repetitions for each set, so when I use the term set I mean 12 repetitions of the exercise.
The Exercises
1.Jaw Crunches – Just like abdominal crunches you are going to squeeze the jaw and neck muscles with this one. Start by tilting your head back as far as it will go keeping your jaws clamped shut. Slowly open you jaws letting the top part of your head fall further back. With your head now back as far as it will go open and close your lower jaw for three sets or more. Try to get a burn out of it.
2.Side Jaw Crunches – This is the same exercise as above only you also lay your head to one side as far as it will go. This will target the muscles on the sides of your jaws and the sides of your neck. Do three or more sets on each side of you neck.
3.Smileys – Just like the name implies you smile as hard as you can, hold it for three seconds and then relax. Do three sets. Even though this is not a neck exercise it will compliment the efforts you are putting into losing fat from your neck and jaws.

By using the EODD Diet and these exercises, I was able to achieve a profile that I do not believe a plastic surgeon could have given me. And I did it for a whole lot less than they would charge. Beside, natural ways are always better than surgery.
