Some people say that weight loss is hard; others maintain that it's easy. Either way it is very simple! You don't need the assistance of fad diets and pills to lose weight. You can get rid of fat by following two simple weight loss steps that I outline here:
1. Eat smaller meals at regular intervals:
Most people only have three meals per day, while some even get by on only two! This is a great way of gaining inches and pounds. However, in order to lose weight, you need to eat six small meals per day, instead of three large ones. Eat each small meal at regular intervals of 3-4 hours.
There are three major advantages to eating smaller meals:
The first advantage is that since you are eating frequently you won't feel hungry at odd times. When you don't feel hungry you won't be reaching for junk foods.
Secondly, eating your smaller meals frequently will keep your metabolic rate high all the time!
The third advantage is that your blood sugar kevels won't be fluctuating and dropping or rising to abnormal levels. Because of this, regular small meals are also good for diabetics.
As you can see, eating small and frequent meals has many advantages!
2. Avoid fructose corn syrup:
There are two reasons why you should stay away from fructose corn syrup:
The first reason is that it will make you gain weight. Fructose-corn syrup blocks the receptors that tell your brain whether you are full or not. When you eat foods that are rich in fructose-corn syrup, you are very likely to overeat and gain some extra pounds!
The second reason is that they spike up your blood sugar level! Even if you don't suffer from diabetes, you will soon, if you continue to eat foods rich in fructose corn syrup, that is! For this reason, hence, these foods should be avoided as much as possible! Examples of foods that contain fructose corn syrup are candies and soda. It is always worth reading food labels to see whether it is contained in the foods you are buying.
If you follow the above two instructions, you will soon be on your way to permanent weight loss! There is more to weight loss such as eating right foods, adding some physical activities in your lifestyle, etc, but the above two weight loss tips are seldom preached by the so-called 'weight loss experts'!
