The Blood Type Diet (Part II): The Diet for Blood Type AB

One’s blood type is strongly related to one’s diet and health, according to the creators of the blood type diet. If you follow the blood type diet for at least two weeks you may reduce the risk of developing certain diseases, slow down the process of aging, and prevent obesity. Differences in blood types explain why some people can lose weight with a certain diet, while others can`t, according to the blood diet’s authors.

For those with blood type AB, foods that may result in weight loss include red meat, beans, seeds, corn, and grains. However, they should avoid seafood, dairy products, and green vegetables.

They should also avoid poultry and beef, or replace them with mutton, lamb, turkey, or rabbit. They may also want to eat code, pike, sturgeon, trout, herrings, or snails.
Dairy products, especially yogurt or low-fat cheese cream are indicated for those with the AB blood type. Vegetables should be consumed daily. However, olives, corn, avocado, and peppers should be avoided.

If you’re an AB blood type, you may want to also eat fruits such as grapes, plums, cherries, pineapple, kiwi, apricots, lemons, grapefruit, and dried figs. The spices that are indicated include salt, garlic, parsley, and horse radish. Ketchup, pepper, and vinegar shouldn`t be consumed.

The recommended beverages for blood type ABs are: red wine, but no more than one glass per day, coffee, and green tea. Light physical exercises such as yoga, walks, or aerobics can help fight against stress.

Always talk to a specialist before staring a diet or fitness program.
