The cookie diet weight loss plan has been around for quite some time, but it has just recently caught the attention of the masses. Celebrities began to praise the diet, and anything a celebrity touches will eventually turn into gold.
There are a few misconceptions about the cookie diet, so the aim of this article is to share the truths with you. All-in-all, I believe the cookie diet weight loss plan can be a very effective diet, as long as a person follows the diet strictly. I just wanted to make that clear before you thought I was against the diet.
Misconception: You eat nothing but cookies during the diet
Truth: A diet consisting of nothing but cookies is very unhealthy! Even if they are considered "healthy" cookies. During the cookie diet, you will be able to eat at least one meal (depending on the program you choose). This single meal will provide your body with all of the stuff the cookies do not provide.
Misconception: You can eat any cookie
Truth: If you go to the bakery and buy a box of chocolate chip cookies, and you expect those cookies to help you lose weight, you must be out of your mind! The cookies in the cookie diet are specially designed to help you lose weight. They are basically nutrition bars that are shaped and flavored like cookies. You will need to get the special cookies for the diet to actually work!
Misconception: You need to buy the cookie diet weight loss cookies
Truth: The cookies used in the cookie diet can be made in your kitchen. There is no need to go out and over-pay for cookies. Most cookie diet plans have a very expensive line of cookies available for purchase, and they make you think you need those cookies in order for the diet to work. You may be able to find a few good recipes on the Internet. Remember though, you are trading your time for money. If you are not the baker-type, your best bet is to order the cookies.
Misconception: The cookie diet doesn't require exercise to be effective
Truth: There is not a diet on this planet that will help you lose weight without requiring some form of exercise. In order for a person to lose weight, they have to burn more calories than they take in. The cookie diet cookies may be very healthy, but they are still adding calories! You have to burn those calories off with some form of exercise! Even if you just walk around the block once a day, you will be helping the weight loss plan work!
Does The Diet Make More Sense Now?
I hope this article has helped you in your decision of whether or not to try the cookie diet. As long as you follow the diet exactly as you are supposed to (Do not cheat!), you will notice very favorable results.
