The Vast Nutritional Value of Hemp

Protein is a necessary part of all of our diets.  We need protein because it is broken down into the component amino acids, which are then restructured into specific proteins which we need to function.  Everything we are is made of protein, and when something goes wrong, we need more to fix the problem.  The point is, protein is important, and it is critical you have a lot of it in your diet.  

One of the best sources of protein is from the hemp seed, which has one of the highest protein contents of any seed on the planet.  Just three spoons of hemp seed a day will fulfill your daily protein requirement, and if you are vegetarian, this is an easy way to get protein without eating meat.  The protein in hemp is also of a higher quality than other proteins, which is why hemp seed is not only an easy method of getting protein, but a preferable one.

As if that were not enough, hemp seed also has the perfect ratios of Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids.  These are the good fats that actually help your health, and it is amazing that the ratios come out perfectly in a natural fashion.  Due to the massive amount of protein and fatty acids available in hemp seed, they are ideal for bodybuilders or anyone who is looking to get strong quickly.  You will not find any other protein source that is so easy to ingest and that gives so much benefit.

It is a shame more people are not aware of how good hemp seed is, perhaps because of the stigma that surrounds the plant from which it comes.  In the future, this negative connotation will be completely eliminated, and people will  come to respect this plant which has been given to us.
