Advantages of Generating Your Own Network Marketing Leads

In order to succeed in network marketing you need a constant supply of leads to talk to about your business. This means either purchasing from a lead vendor or learning how to generate them yourself.

There are several advantages of learning how to market this way and I will give you my reasons why I believe this is the best thing to do.

The first is quality. When you buy leads from a network marketing vendor, they have been generated from a generic advertising campaign. They will not be specific at all to you or your opportunity, therefore you have no idea what kind of business they might be interested in. You also have no idea what ad they responded to. When you generate your own leads and use ad tracking in your campaigns you can know exactly what ad they responded to and from where.

Network marketing leads you have generated yourself are often more responsive than ones you have purchased. In addition since they have opted in to your opt in page or web site they will know something about you already, so it won't be the same as a cold call the prospect might be getting from a total stranger that they know nothing about, or the business they represent. Leads that you generate are as fresh as you can get and they are exclusive to you only.

You also will receive them in real-time. It is more powerful to have company specific real-time leads in your inbox as soon as they have opted in.

As the lead generator you have total control over the questions you want to ask people, and the opt in page you want your leads to come from. You can make your leads as targeted as you like this way.

One of the biggest advantages of generating your own leads is cost. Your cost to do this will be the tools you may be using such as lead capture pages and auto responders, and any advertising costs. They are many inexpensive and even free ways of advertising to start building your list. In addition there are marketing systems you can use if you don't know how to create you own lead capture page or want something as simple as possible for you and your downline to be able to duplicate easily. Contrast this with prices ranging from $1 to $5 or more per lead with network marketing lead vendors and you can see this can be much more economical for you in the long run.

Not every lead you generate will be right for your business. However, you will likely find this to be a much more rewarding and profitable way to build your business, and it should cost you less money as well.
