Where do you start?
Most people think that this is impossible. We hear of many top internet entrepreneurs having lists like this but haven’t they been here since the dawn of time? Don’t they have so much money that they can continue to maintain and increase their lists? The little guy just can’t do that, right?
WRONG!! You can do that!
Now, not overnight.
Here are some steps to take to get that list:
Write information packed articles and submit them everywhere.
Make sure they are between 500 to 800 words long. Write them upon your expertise. Show your knowledge. Make the readers want to come to your site. Wet those taste buds! You will distribute those articles everywhere. Ezines, social bookmarking sites, blogging, and so on, you get the idea.
Write e-books.
Watch the costs!

Use a sign up form on every single page of you site.

With these books you can add your links for bonuses in the books. Give the books away and you have double the advertising!
Use giveaways through JV’s.
Don’t giveaway junk! Doing this can leave a bad taste in the mouths of the giveaway sponsor and for the downloading the product. They want quality.
This will give you a two fold opportunity. With the JV you will receive other offer to join giveaways.
With the person that downloaded the product you have another addition to your list and a potential customer.
Offer courses to members.
Have these courses in segments lasting several weeks. People prefer them in small chunks. Make the content current and interesting.
