Dropship Business - How To Find Wholesale Suppliers

If you are serious in creating a long-term dropship business, then you know how important it is to find a reliable wholesale source. Unfortunately, it’s not as easy as you might think or as easy as you want it to be. Finding wholesale suppliers is difficult because they don’t really announce to the world that they are dropshipping.

Why? Because they’re doing just fine earning enough money from retail stores who buy by the bulk. Dropship business owners add up to the sale but they’re not really pleading everybody to start offering their products.

How do you then find a reliable supplier? Do your research. You can do a Google search and look for dropshipping companies that you can potentially partner with. You can use keywords to narrow down your search.

For example: If you are looking to sell blankets, search for “blanket dropshipper”, if you are considering toys, search for “toy dropshipper”, and so on. Just add the term dropshipper to the name of the product.

Most likely, you will end up having lots of choices after doing your search. You now have to narrow them down by finding out which company will best serve your dropship business. Compare prices, read the terms and conditions, find out if they have minimum orders, etc…

Most importantly, check on their credibility. For sure they have existing dropshipping customers already and finding reviews should not be hard. You can simply do a Google search again and add the term review to the company’s name. Say for example; Acme Company reviews.

You can also ask around in forums. I must say that forums are a great source of information. They are run by real people and members are usually helpful when it comes to providing information.

You can also contact the company itself and tell inquire about their processes. How they deal with dropship business owners? How they handle returns? What are the delivery methods? Where they deliver? The more questions you ask the better.

Most scammers will not be able to answer some of those questions, if they lead the conversation elsewhere, beware.

Finding the right dropshipping wholesale supplier can be hard work but it pays off when you are already running your business. You’ll find that you have less headaches and communicating with them is easy.

One tip when you are already in business. Make sure to take care of your customers and treat them really well. Answer their queries in a timely manner and communicate with them professionally. You may even need to very patient at times but its all part of the job. Your dropship business depends on your customers so you have to treat them well.
