Flyers That Kick Butt

There are three things you should do to create full color flyers that accomplish the goals you have set out to do:

1 – Benefit-laden headline.

In order for you to improve on your flyer printing ads, the first thing you have to do is to change your headline. You know why? Because if you’re like the ordinary business owner and marketer, you’d be using your business name in your headline rather than what can really get the attention of your target clients.

You have to face the truth. Nobody cares about your business name or company name or your name. In fact, they don’t care much about your personality. There’s only one thing that your prospects are interested in, and that’s the benefits of getting into business with you.

Here’s a fact. Your target clients want to know one thing only – what you can do for them. So tell it first thing in your headline. Your headline are the first set of words that they’re going to see, so make use of that opportunity to highlight why they should deal with you.

2 – It’s all about YOU.

In this case, YOU means your clients and prospective customers. Your clients are a very selfish lot. They only care about one thing: themselves. So get off your high horses and start remembering that everything should be about YOU, as in your customers.

What your customers and prospects would want to see in your full color flyers is the reason why they would want to buy from you. It’s all about the benefits they can get from your business. What’s in it for them?

So avoid telling them about you. It will only fall on deaf ears. Instead, entice them with facts and figures on how they will get value for their money by bombarding them with the benefits.

3 – Act NOW!

It’s not enough that you convey your message and your target audience understood what you’re trying to tell them. Your marketing campaign doesn’t stop there. You also need to make them act on your call. At the end of your flyers be sure to include your call to action. This is to ensure that you get results from your print ads.

A marketing campaign that doesn’t get a result is a waste of your time, money and effort. When we say result, it means that your target readers actually acted according to what you want them to do. Call now! Visit the website. Get your free gift when you visit the shop. Act NOW!

You’re probably thinking that that’s the purpose of your advertising in the first place – to get them to act on your message. It’s a no brainer therefore to even put it in the ad. But believe it or not, your target audience needs to be told what to do after they’ve read your message. Many businesses have lost opportunities and chances of making a sale just because they forgot to indicate what their prospects should do after.

And it’s not enough that you tell them how to act, you also have to tell when, as in NOW. People are born procrastinators. So be specific about your call to action. ‘Now’ and ‘immediately’ often gets people to stand and act right away.

For your next flyers, try to incorporate these three tips and see how your print ads contribute to the success of your business.
