Be direct to the point always, while trying to sound honest and friendly. Never bore the reader with terms that he or she will not really understand. Just make sure that your text can be easily digested even by newbies and you should be well on your way for an effective catalog entry.
3. Display all the relevant product information.
Next, when it comes to the text content itself of your catalog printing, you have to always give your readers the important product information that they need to judge the product. Never leave this out and just post your advertising message. Let people judge your product themselves through the product specifications. Add in details like the material in which your product is made, the special process if applicable and the technical specifications if needed. Of course, do not also forget the price, as well as any other deals and packages that potential buyers can avail of. This should encourage your readers to analyze and read more of your color catalogs to confirm and search for the product information that they want.
4. Make it easy to order.
Also, for each catalog entry, do not forget to include a small snippet of information on how to order your product. Don’t let your readers be confused on the procedure, and if possible never let them get frustrated in trying to find the ordering information. 5. Always offer something new or free.
Finally, almost always people expect something new and “free” in promotional campaigns. This is true when you print catalogs as well. So always offer something like a discount of prices, special money saving packages or even free gift items for buying a particular product within a specific catalog entry itself. This makes each entry more enticing, leading people to consider buying it. If done well, this can also make each catalog entry very effective in selling its products.
