How to Write Striking Ad Copies

If you want to write striking ad copies for your print ads such as your flyer printing pieces and brochure printing materials, you need not only target your market but most importantly, you have to convey the right message for your clients and prospects.

Often the best indicator of having an effective ad for your business does not depend on one factor alone – that of your target market. On the contrary, rather than reaching out to the right person, it is more significant for you as a marketer to develop the right message.

You’d probably say that most advice columns online and offline are telling you about the importance of targeting your market. But that’s the thing. This advice has often fallen short of your expectations. In fact, it has disappointed many advertisers for so long just because many analysts and salespeople have encouraged the need to connect with the right client.

If you think that you can get away with the same principle the next time you start your marketing campaign such as your advertising flyers and marketing brochures, then better think again. Targeting your ad to focus on the right message can be the key that will open the doors of success to your business.

Here are the steps on how you can write striking ad copies:

Step 1: Include your target market, and exclude those you don’t need.

You’re probably saying, “Duh!?! That’s a no brainer!” But you’d be surprised how many advertisers are actually trying to reach out to a wider range of market than they’re supposed to. When you want to say the right thing, you need to have the right group to tell it to. Would you rather have vegetarians read your ad on your prime beef section of your grocery? Or you would want to focus on your message so that it would appeal to the target market you’re after?

Step 2: Create compelling ad copies.

Let’s face it. Your target clients have so many things vying for their attention everyday and every moment. Not only are you competing with other advertising flyers and marketing brochures from so many businesses, but you also have to contend with everyday things such as what food to prepare for breakfast, what to wear for work, etc. If you can’t get their attention, then your ad is such a waste. So don’t take it for granted that your prospects will read your ad. Not only would it help you create a great design, but you’ll be forced to be creative to make sure that you gain their attention.

Step 3: Be unique. Be different. And be honest.

The only way you can stand out is if you can offer your prospects something different and unique from what is already out there. Most of all, be honest with what you can offer. Consumers in general are very wary of empty promises, and they know if you’re only trying to gain their attention or you’re really telling the truth. Never gloss on your features. Instead, provide them the benefits of your products and services. Tell them the truth and let them decide for themselves.

Finally, be sure to put value in your ad copy. Ensure that your target clients know how you will deliver on your word.

When you have the right message to send to your prospects, an increase in your sales is the next thing that can happen to your business.

Hello- Just the other day I logged on my compter like normally and the "show hidden icons" arrow just kept multiplying. I can't click on any of the icons within the taskbar only the clock. I have a feeling that it may be Limewire related although the version I have I pay for. It comes up with the normal message except after I click out of the message there is no limewire. I think the computer thinks thats limewire is open yet I can't access the taskbar to maximize the limewire program.
